It's Prime Time!

It's the holiday we've all been waiting for - Amazon Prime Days! If I'm being completely honest, I actually don't purchase a ton on Amazon. Not to say that they don't get plenty of my money but whenever possible I definitely prefer shopping local or small business. However (probably like most of you) I REALLY love a good deal! And my clients will confirm that one of my biggest gripes about living in the Des Moines area is that we don't have a TON of places to shop for furniture, home decor and art. So, I logged on to my computer early this morning to look through Amazon's home sector to find some deals that I can't wait to share with you!

In home design there is nothing more versatile than a large mirror! A leaning wall mirror like this can literally double your space. Use a mirror directly opposite a window to bounce light or across from beautiful artwork (or another lovely view!) to enjoy it from any angle. Mirrors like this can be great to fill up large walls where a furniture piece just doesn't work or make sense. A true workhorse, oversized mirrors tend to ALSO have an oversized price tag, so snagging this one for only $85 bucks? I'd get two.
Chita Living seems to be EVERYWHERE recently! They've created quite a buzz amongst the design minded people in my circle for their clean lined designs with a focus on both quality and price. These chairs appear to be no exception with a modern style and stain resistant fabric. I love the hidden casters and with this silhouette I'd have no problem pulling these chairs up to fill out a seating area in a pinch!
I'm a recent convert to linen sheets and know that they are definitely an investment! So being able to find these at 20% off means it's a great time to treat yourself. Linen sheets are breathable (sooo important right now in Iowa, yikes!) and super durable which means a quality set will last you a very long time. And in my opinion, there is just something so casually elegant about linen. No matter your personal style these will always look great. Just buy the sheets!
I want my house to smell great, but I can be sensitive (and picky!) when it comes to scents, so I absolutely love Pura! Controlled with an app, with Pura you can set the time and intensity of two different scents - so you can wake up to your favorite energizing scent and relax at night to a more calming one. Pet safe and kid safe, I never worry about using this in my own house or when I'm staging properties. The hardest part is finding your favorite fragrances, and this kit gives you a great starting point.
Quite possibly the best deal I found of all, this set of artwork is like the holy grail of home staging! You absolutely can't go wrong with a set of neutral art like this, especially for this price. And any "pair" of pieces will be super versatile. You can hang them together as shown to fill up a large space, but you can also stack them on top of each other on a smaller wall or break up the pieces and use them in two different smaller spaces to add continuity. And my favorite "trick" with modern art is that you hang each piece horizontally or vertically to change the look!

Lamps are really the perfect accessory in my opinion - beautiful and functional! I love the subtle texture and color of this one that would be totally appropriate in modern, boho and even high-end design. Even better is that this already great price? Is actually for a set of TWO of these lamps!

Adding a simple catchall like this one is perfect for corralling tiny items and keeping your counters or nightstands clutter free. For the same reason I love a catchall, trays are great for both the decorative and mundane items we surround ourselves with. The scallop detail and woven material on this one feel so summery and fresh! I love it with a palm beach inspired, moody academia or even boho style!
